Toddler Counting App Reviews

My 18 month old loves this app. In the last month alone shes counting on her own, and can tell you what number comes next if you randomly start with a number. This basic application gives the word the visual and the motor skills to select each item as it appears randomly on the screen. Perfect for a young toddler just learning. Its simple for her to use, some of the other apps are too cluttered and confusing for under 2. I wish you had more applications!

My twins boys love this so much and they never stop playing. This is the best app for toddlers of this world

My 22 month old isnt counting much, but she loves the hand and eye coordination required to press the pictures. She also loves yelling out the animals and such she is counting. No complaints here.

My 2year old son loves this app. Not only has he learned his numbers better, he also learns new vocabulary.

I use this app with early elementary students. great for 1 to 1 counting and is self correcting. Also good for working on counting skills. could be improved by adding reinforcers or having chance to select what quantity to work on.

This simple app has given my toddler many hours of amusement and learning.

This was the first App we bought for our children (1.5 & 3 at the time). It is a wonderful introduction to how to interact with the iPad. There are no "main menu" or "settings" icons they can touch, and the simple white screen and contrasting images make it very attractive to young users! They still LOVE it! A must have for Pre-K users!

My son with Autism likes this app..pictures realistic to keep him interested. I like the simplicity of this to teach him numbers:)

Fantastic app, well worth the money. Suggestion: can you add an option to delay the speaking of the numbers by 1 second, but show them as now (immediately)? I find that my daughter says the numbers half the time, but often the voice beats her to it.

The app looks good and my toddler should find it interesting. Could you add the ability for the parent to record their voice for each number instead of the pre-canned one? In this way, this could be used in teaching numbers in other languages.

My boys LOVE this app, but are hitting the items fast and never counting with the voice. It would be nice to have a feature that would turn off the voice (without muting the ipad) and/or just gray out the items counted with out the numbers on top, so they can count out loud. Over all great app, and well worth the price!

This is a great tool to teach my two year old grandson how to count.

Wow! You did it, you entertained my 17 month old who has already hit his terrible twos. He played it for 20 minutes. 20 MINUTES!!! I cant believe it! Parents must get this game, you might enjoy the peace & quiet, not to mention the rest youll get:) My 4yr & 5yr old enjoyed it as well. The only negative thing they all want to play at the same time, which results in a fight;( Still worth it! Great way to teach! This game is so simple, but awsome!

This app displays a number of pictures to be counted. When you touch a picture, it says the number and displays the number on top of the picture. After they you have touched all the pictures, the voice says something like, "Good job. There are 10 turtles." The voice is clear and enunciates every number and every picture name very well. It doesnt matter which order they touch the pictures. My granddaughters (15 months and 2-1/2) love this app! It is one of their favorites. This is one of the few apps that the 15-month-old can use -- she loves it that she can make the iPad talk. It is definitely improving the 2-1/2 year-olds counting skills. I would recommend this to any parent or grandparent of a toddler.

Love this app! My 18 mo old loves to play it. Simple, interactive, and educational.

I use this app for my kid who has special needs and he loves it. Clear voice. Would like to see option to limit the number of objects shown so we could focus on certain numbers, even one. This would also help with target practice which is a big deal to us.

He constantly plays this game for long periods. Other games he loses interest quickly. Buy this app for teaching counting--- fun for them and parents can encourage by cheering them on

Every time my son opens this app, he is hooked. Great graphics, simple interface that doesnt over-stimulate. Thanks!
